We finished 20th in the Jacoby Swiss Teams. Next: USA Team Trials in Chicago in June, then the Summer Nationals in New Orleans in July.

After two sessions yesterday Doug and I lie 34th out of 130 qualifiers for the finals of the Silodor Open Pairs.

Alas, we lost the match by 5 IMPs. Doug and I will enter the Open Pairs, which starts later today -- Thursday.

We were down by 7 IMPs after the first quarter. Doug and I sat out the second set. At half-time we lead by 31. We picked good teammates!

We're the 14 seed in the Vanderbilt. We won our first two matches in comfort. Today we face a stronger opponent, Mark Gordon, the 19 seed.

I'm playing in the Spring North American Bridge Championships in Reno. I took the first three days off to ski and sightsee.
